And when the book’s last page is turned, does the story end? Never!
I love it when books generate interaction and connection between readers, especially when the fun continues after the end of the story. The coolest thing about being a picturebook author is seeing their imaginations in action.
The book can be the spark that awakens curiosity, creativity and spills over into other formats, allowing the story to be experienced in more ways by the child.
Take a look at some nice stuff schools have already created from my books... I'm amazed at the dedication and involvement of teachers and students in these activities, not to mention the fact that I'm flattered to see the story coming out of the paper and becoming a reality in the children's lives.

When the children attend my events, they may not always go home with the book, but the story still resonates. So I like them to have something to remember my book by, whether it's a sticker, bookmark, etc.
And I know that teachers, parents, and educators like to continue the conversation with their kids. That's why I've put together some activities from my books for you to download and play with your children, students or friends.
In addition, my children and I made a video showing how to draw the monster from the book "Are you a Monster?". It’s in Portuguese, but drawing is a universal language, right?
Have fun with the kids and tag me on Instagram!
